Explanation of Tarot card spread in the order of Kanye’s video:

When you are watching Kanye’s video the Tarot layout is in order of the video as it pans out. It starts with Kanye (The Devil), Judgement, & Ace of Swords Reversed.

Then at 0:38 the video pans out and The World Reversed card drops the fabric and then turns into The Hanged Man.

At 0:43 The Lovers appear under The Star Reversed. The Star is pouring water and on the left side of Kanye hanging upside down is The Magician with a dagger at 0:44.

Please note that at 0:44 we can see a Lion on Judgement’s throne and the Wheel of Fortune card shows the 4 fixed signs of the zodiac which are Taurus, Leo, Aquarius and Scorpio and they are the pinnacle constellations which revolve in a square within the circle.They are also known as the Pillars of Heaven.They are also known as the creatures from the vision of Ezekiel.

At 0:45 the video pans out and we can see Page of Swords and at 0:54 the 7 of Wands comes into action with weapons drawn. Next we can just barely see The Temperance Reversed hanging upside down with water and in the Tarot card she is represented pouring water. At 0:54 the woman on the left dancing draws the Wheel of Fortune card along with the two women crawling on the floor and the circle created by those surrounding Kanye the center of the circle being his shinning necklace.

At 1:05 the woman on the right that is alone is with Judgement. The woman on the left of Kanye crawling on the floor represents Taurus the Ox and to the right of Kanye represents the Lion which is also pictured right above her head on Judgements throne which completes the wheel of fortune card.

At 1:09 Ace of Cups on the left and the Queen of Cups is on the right. The cups are full with grapes because both cups represent symbolic meanings of grapes and grapevines which deal with fertility, abundance, transformation and blessing. Considered the fruit of the earth in both pagan and Christian circles, the grape is rich in symbolism. Bunches of grapes have long been depicted in funerary art and are symbols of redemption. Grapes and grapevines are also found in Roman art as symbols of hospitality, bounty and symbolic of youthfulness.Ace of Cups also has water spray in the card which is represented by the water spraying behind the entire image and has a W on it and is also in the end of the video in the POWER clip.

The two people on Kanye’s right bound together in the dark represent the 5 of Pentacles which represents material trouble, destitution or otherwise.

The last scene at 1:15 showing the entire character outline represents The Tower Reversed which signifies oppression, imprisonment and tyranny.

The spread is completed with the 3 of Swords Reserved when Page of Swords and 7 of Wands weapons meet at the Ace of Swords it draws the 3 of Swords Reversed which means mental alienation, error, loss, distraction and confusion closing the spread which pans out to POWER.

“99 Problems” is the third single released by American rapper Jay-Z in 2003 from The Black Album. It reached number thirty on the U.S Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The track was produced by Rick Rubin, his first hip hop production in many years. Rubin provided Jay-Z with the type of stripped-down beat that was once his trademark. To construct the beat, Rubin used samples of “The Big Beat” by Billy Squier, and “Long Red” by Mountain. Although it remains uncredited, “99 Problems” also contains samples of “Get Me Back on Time, Engine No. 9″ by Wilson Pickett.[citation needed] The title and chorus are taken from Ice-T’s “99 Problems” from his 1993 album Home Invasion. The song featured Brother Marquis of 2 Live Crew. Portions of Ice-T’s original lyrics were similarly quoted in a song by fellow rapper Trick Daddy on a track unsurprisingly titled “99 Problems” from his 2001 album Thugs Are Us. Jay-Z begins his third verse directly quoting lines from Bun B’s opening verse off Touched, from the UGK album Ridin’ Dirty On July 6, 2008, more than four years after the song’s initial release, “99 Problems” entered the UK Singles Chart at #35 (after reaching #12 on initial release). This was attributed to Jay-Z’s appearance at Glastonbury and the O2 Wireless Festival, two popular British summer music festivals. On January 21, 2009, Jay-Z performed the song as part of his set at the Staff Ball, the last official event of Barack Obama’s inauguration. The ball was exclusively for 4,000 staffers who had worked on Obama’s campaign. Jay-Z tweaked the lyrics to suit the historic atmosphere, and the crowd sang along: “I Got 99 problems but a Bush ain’t one.”
